We provide care to those who need it most. By integrating professional Community Health Workers with improved care in public sector clinics, this approach creates a patient-centered health system that is accountable to the community and dramatically reduces mortality in severely resource-limited settings.
Community Health Workers
Trained, equipped, supervised, salaried, and predominantly women, Community Health Workers conduct proactive case-finding and provide home-based care to ensure population-level coverage. Chosen and approved by the community, Community Health Workers are trusted professionals making healthcare more accessible to all.
Trained in supportive supervision, an Integrate Health Clinical Mentor provides peer-to-peer coaching to nurses and midwives in public sector clinics to ensure competent healthcare providers and effective care. With strong healthcare providers, patients feel more trusting and confident when seeking care from the health centers.
Supply Chain And Infrastructure
Improved basic infrastructure and effective supply chain management transform public sector clinics into buildings that match the quality of healthcare received inside. With safe buildings and trained pharmacy managers, patients have confidence in the care they will receive.
User Fee Removal
Subsidized point-of-care fees for pregnant women and children under five eliminate financial barriers for patients. Without having to worry about the cost of care, patients are able to seek healthcare when they need it.
A Measureable Impact
Our Integrated Primary Care Program serves a population of over 160,000 across 18 public sector clinics with 144 Community Health Workers.
Our Approach Is Only Part of the Solution
