Our work in Guinea
In 2023, Integrate Health expanded its geographic footprint to reach a second country in the francophone West African region: Guinea. The Guinean Ministry of Health formally requested us to implement the Integrated Primary Care Program in the Kouroussa district, Kankan region, as a way to strengthen the community health. We now work together to fill critical gaps in the national community health strategy, with a focus on vaccination and supporting the development of digital health tools.
Our Guinea story
Building on the successes and impact of Integrated Primary Care Program in Togo, Integrate Health officially became a multi-country organization when we launched patient care in Guinea. Just like in Togo, the IPCP in Guinea focuses on providing integrated primary healthcare services, free of charge, effectively filling the gaps of the national community health strategy.

Strengthening community health
Integrate Health’s Integrated Primary Care Program is directly aligned with the Guinean government’s national health development plan and its goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage. Through our partnership with Gavi, we are demonstrating impact in some of Guinea’s most remote communities, focusing on vaccination efforts. Additionally, through Project BIRCH, we are channeling more resources into community health and supporting their effective implementation, thereby addressing critical gaps in the government’s community health strategy.
