Kara clinic gets a new roof

Jul 9, 2014

Thanks to generous funding from the Australian High Commission, our main clinic in Togo finally has a new roof! With a tin roof built to last several decades, HTH/AED-Lidaw can continue to fight for health equity in Togo. Before receiving the funds, several offices would leak during light rains. Now in the middle of the rainy season in northern Togo, no offices have shown leaking since project completion. Without roof concerns, the clinic can focus its full energy on providing comprehensive medical and social services to more than 1,200 patients of the highly marginalized HIV/AIDS community.
