Expressing gratitude this Thanksgiving

Nov 27, 2019

This Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and give thanks to you, our partners and donors. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your support. Together, we have been able to achieve incredible milestones since this time last year, and we hope that with your support, we will continue to grow.

Since November 2018, thanks to your support, Integrate Health has:

Continued the scale-up of the Integrated Primary Care Program to the district of Dankpen. With the expansion, we welcomed 34 new Community Health Workers to our team and now serve a total population of over 140,000. Get to know our new Community Health Workers and read more about our scale-up in our 2019 Annual Report.

Expanded our team to over 130 people. This includes our 34 new Dankpen Community Health Workers and new staff in both our Togo and US offices.

Conducted 100,342 home visits, 68,424 consultations of children under five, and 1,768 facility-based deliveries; enrolled 59 women in prevention of mother-to-child transmission; and helped 2,990 women to adopt family planning. In addition, our 3 Clinical Mentors coached 49 nurses and midwives, and we deployed 95 Community Health Workers.

Introduced our new Community Health Systems Lab and published two papers: Implementing an integrated community based health systems strengthening approach to improve HIVsurvival in northern Togo and Assessing the Integrated Community-Based Health Systems Strengthening initiative in northern Togo: a pragmatic effectiveness-implementation study protocol

Our partners and donors have been absolutely paramount in enabling our growth. This Thanksgiving, we thank you for your commitment to ending preventable deaths and helping to realize our vision of health for all.
