Hope Through Health Founder Kevin Fiori Jr Honored

Feb 4, 2014

The 63rd annual University of Washington School of Medicine graduation took place on Saturday June 2, 2012. Hope Through Health co-founder Kevin Fiori Jr was among the 212 medical students who received their diplomas. Kevin was also the recipient of one of two awards given to graduating students. Kevin received the Ellen Griep Award, which honors a graduate who has inspired classmates, staff and faculty by successfully managing both the academic demands of medical education and continued excellence in other endeavors. Kevin’s close friend and classmate Robin Chand described Kevin’s remarkable work in co-founding Hope Through Health prior to starting medical school and continuing his commitment to the organization throughout medical school. The Ellen Griep Award recipient was chosen based on a vote of the graduating students. Robin summed up his classmates’ praise of Kevin saying, “Come’on man, you’re making me look bad.” Hope Through Health is proud to acknowledge Kevin for this well deserved honor.
