HTH’s Togo-based partner organization, Association Espoir pour Demain has been selected as an implementing partner in USAID’s 5-year project in the nations of Burkina Faso and Togo. The project, which launched in February, will focus on HIV- prevention activities for the most at-risk populations in Togo, including military servicemen and women, truck drivers, sex workers, and men who have sex with men. A research study conducted by Johns Hopkins University has shown that these groups can have HIV-prevalence rates as high as 50% in Togo. The collaboration with USAID is a first for AED-Lidaw and Hope Through Health is delighted to partner with such a fine organization.
