Kossi Pascal just started working at HTH/AED-Lidaw as its first ever IT manager! Because he wanted to experience the hospitality and warmth of the Kabiyè people, Kossi, a 27-year-old Lomé native, decided to move to Kara where he pursued a degree in Finance and Accounting. While in college, Kossi learned about computer maintenance and network administration during the school year and spent his summers in Ivory Coast with his mother’s side of the family. After graduating, Kossi worked at the Computing Center for Maintenance and Multimedia (CIMM) repairing hardware, helping manage a cyber café, and teaching computer literacy to local college students. At HTH/AED-Lidaw, Kossi will focus on managing CommCare, our mobile health application for Community Health Workers. He will also work to strengthen data management in the community health program, do general network maintenance and administration, and lead continuing computer literacy education for HTH/AED-Lidaw’s staff.
We’re thrilled to have him here at HTH/AED-Lidaw; he’s already been doing excellent work!
