Hessa is 22 years old and the mother of two children. Hessa heard about the community-based health system strengthening program of the NGO Integrate Health and felt a strong desire to be one of the women who will be trained to provide healthcare to the children in her community. For Hessa, it is inconceivable that a child would lose his or her life because the parents cannot afford to take the child to the hospital for quality care. Since July 2021, Hessa has been enthusiastically and proudly doing the noble work of bringing healthcare closer to the people in her community.
