Viviane Lantame

Jan 19, 2022

Viviane was predestined to become a doctor when she was younger. Due to lack of means, she decided to become a nurse. She was admitted, after obtaining her baccalaureate (second part) at the Modern High School of Sokodé, to the Normal School of Medical Assistants (ENAM) of Kara, in 2010. She graduated as a State Nurse in 2013. In August of the same year, Viviane joined the pediatric department of the Regional Hospital Center (CHR) of Kara-Tomdè for an advanced training course. She was positively noticed, in September 2014, by a catechist who appreciated her work and her sense of dedication. The latter recommended Adja to the administration of the Saint Jean de Dieu Hospital in Tanguiéta, Benin, where she worked as a State Registered Nurse in neonatology for almost two years, an experience she loved.

In July 2016, Viviane was recruited as a nurse at the Medical and Social Center (CMS) of Farendè (Binah). Jovial and hard-working by nature, she was promoted three years later to become head nurse of the Farendè health center where she worked for five years. Since December 2021, Viviane has been working for Integrate Health as a CHW Supervisor in Kéran. Her experiences will be a great asset to the IPCP program team to advance the cause of accessibility to primary care for all in Togo and more specifically in the Kéran district.
