Toka has lived in Sarakawa his whole life and works as a mechanic and farmer when he is not driving patients for IH’s rural tricycle ambulance program in Sarakawa. Prior to becoming a driver for IH, Toka worked as a village development volunteer and chose to work with IH to further his commitment to his community. Toka has seen many changes in his community, including an increase in health literacy and reduced maternal and child deaths in Sarakawa. Toka looks forward to working closely with Sarakawa to serve his community by providing lifesaving medical transports that decrease child mortality.
