Her love for the work of health workers was one of the reasons Anita applied to become a CHW at Integrate Health. Having already worked with the nurse stationed in Boufalé at the child development center for the international humanitarian NGO COMPASSION, Anita seized the opportunity to become a CHW first to be trained as a health worker since she loved this field, but also because she wants to become a state nurse. After her initial training and deployment to Boufalé, Anita spends her days making a difference in the lives of five year olds, pregnant women, and postpartum women in her community.
