Assibi Nadege Botcho Amezo

Apr 18, 2018

Nadege was born and raised in Djamdé, where she was a farmer prior to becoming a Community Health Worker with IH. Driven by the desire to help her community, she was particularly drawn to IH’s partnership because she knew her community would thrive through the partnership. She is proud of the significant differences she has seen in her community, including the majority of women who now receive pre- and post-natal consultations at regularly scheduled intervals and who promptly seek care for their children when they’re ill. Nadege is empowered by the knowledge she can impart to her community and to her own family members. She looks forward to the many ways the IH partnership with Djamdé continues to strengthen her community, particularly the focus on affordable and accessible family planning.
