Despite being a trader, Assimbatom has always wanted to work in the health field. The lack of means to continue her studies in this field has left Assimbatom’s desire unfulfilled. So when she learned that there was an NGO that came to recruit and train women to provide healthcare in her community, it was an opportunity she could not miss. She hopes to gain the skills and abilities to one day become the healthcare provider she has always wanted to be.
