Aworossi has seen her rural community suffer from poor access to quality healthcare services for years, and when Integrate Health began recruiting for community health workers in Koundoum, she jumped at the opportunity. Using her new training, she is able to play a role in reducing preventative illnesses by teaching families about the importance of family planning, prenatal care, and facility-based deliveries.
