Luc has spent his whole life in Djamdé and joined the IH Community Health Worker team in 2015. Before becoming a Community Health Worker, Luc didn’t know much about health, but he now credits the health of a person as being essential to the hope and development of a community, particularly children’s health. He is proud of being a Community Health Worker, in particular his ability to care for the children in his community, including his own. Since joining IH’s Community Health Worker team, he has noticed changes in behavior in his community, in particular an increased sense of cohesiveness, as people are united by their health and happiness. Luc is determined to continue to ensure children remain happy and healthy in his community and to promote IH’s programs in the community.
