Babalana Justine Bakeda

Apr 18, 2018

Justine has lived her whole life in Adabawéré and joined the IH Community Health Worker team at the age of 20. She was first motivated to join IH’s mission when she saw how her community was suffering but couldn’t help itself because of the cost of healthcare and knew the IH program would make a difference. Since becoming a Community Health Worker in 2015, Justine has noticed everything change in her community. Healthcare is affordable and accessed, women truly understand how to care for themselves and their families, and the community is much stronger. Justine is the main Community Health Worker in charge of hospitalization follow-ups and spends a lot of time with families at hospitals. She is proud of the work she does and looks forward to IH’s future in the community.
