Babanam Honorine Toyou

Apr 18, 2018

Babanam has lived her whole life in Djamdé and joined the team of IH Community Health Worker in 2015 at the age of 21. When Babanam saw the ways in which members of her community were suffering, particularly the children, she decided to dedicate herself to improving the lives of those around her as a Community Health Worker. Having now worked for several years as a Community Health Worker, Babanam is proud of the way her community has thrived since the beginning of the program, as well as the impact working as a Community Health Worker has had on her own life and livelihood. Babanam gets immense joy from seeing better health in her community as IH’s partnership with the community progresses, and she looks forward to many more years of success.
