Having dropped out of secondary school, Badawè was a model housewife, quite well known by the other women in her community. When she heard about the health system strengthening program initiated by the NGO Integrate Health, she did not hesitate to apply. Following her training, Badawè is currently a CHW. She spends her days making home visits to her patients, diagnosing and treating children under the age of five, and following up on pregnant and postpartum women in her community. Badawè hopes to help her community live a healthy life and contribute to reduce the very high death rate in the past.
