Bilinèwè was a seller in her community. A mother of seven children, Bilinèwè’s other activity was farming. Her desire to help her community, which had a real problem with access to healthcare, led her to apply to be trained as a CHW. Since July 2021, Bilinèwè has been visiting households in her community to offer healthcare to children under five years of age, and to follow up on pregnant and post-partum women. She hopes to contribute to the improvement of the healthcare conditions of people in her community by putting her availability, responsibility, and dynamism to effectively do the work for which she was trained.
