Bozolim grew up in Sanda Afohou and recently gave birth to her fourth child before becoming a Community Health Worker with IH in 2018. As a mother, she was sad to see many of her neighbors unable to make trips to their local health clinic because they couldn’t afford transportation and medical costs. Since she has started working with IH, she has seen an impressive change, and mothers now can afford and understand the importance of prenatal care for both their and their baby’s health. The community trusts her, and she trusts that her work is making a significant impact towards developing the place she calls home.
