Essodom has been raising her four children in Sanda Afohou for the past 18 years and joined the IH team in 2018. She worked as a Community Health Worker for the Red Cross previously and brought her prior expertise to her new role as a Community Health Worker with IH. She is passionate about saving the lives of her fellow community members and making sure women and children have proper access to essential health services at their disposal. She is grateful for the financial autonomy the job gives her, which allows Essodom to inspire health behavior changes in her community every day.
