Clari Tcha

Jun 7, 2019

Before joining IH in 2018 as a Community Health Worker, Clari had experienced many obstacles. Having to drop out of school when her father passed away due to lack of financing, she worked in the market selling goods. When she left for the three-week training before officially taking on her role as a Community Health Worker, Clari gained a confidence in herself that she never knew existed. Her family has benefited from her new role, and she is now able to give women more autonomy to make family planning decisions on their own terms. She is impressed by the progress she sees within her community and looks forward to continuing her work for herself, her family, and her community.
