Denise dropped out of high school and started working in a computer center where she did data entry and photocopying. She decided to apply to be trained as a CHW so that she could provide good quality healthcare to children in her community. As a mother of two, Denise is always saddened to see children suffering and not being able to access healthcare. Her desire as a CHW for her community is to enable everyone to be healthy and to become a valued health worker herself.
