Essohounadatom was a well-known trader in her community. She was in demand for her unique soy cheese that people loved to enjoy, coupled with the local drink she sold, which only she knew the composition of, making it special and her customers satisfied every time. Despite this recognition from the people of her community and the high demand, Essohounadatom decided to embark on a different path and contribute to the reduction of the infant and child mortality, rate which was very high in her community. She applied to be trained as a CHW and is now enjoying her new job and taking pride in her accomplishments.
