From being a simple housewife, Essossinam has become a respected CHW in her community. Thanks to her training, she spends her days caring for the children under the age of five around her and monitoring pregnant and postpartum women. From a desire to change her life condition with a job that would be paid, Essossinam has become a model woman in her community whom other women want to be like. She does her work every day with seriousness and self-sacrifice and hopes to allow her community to fully enjoy their health by putting an end to avoidable deaths.
