Kémèwa Tagba

Kemewa has lived her whole life in Djamdé and has many years of experience working as a Community Health Worker with a variety of organizations. She greatly enjoys working in her community, and did so first as a PSI Community Health Worker, leading community education sessions on HIV, before joining the IH Community Health Worker team in 2015 to continue to strengthen the health of her community. She is proud to be saving and improving lives, particularly through the empowerment of women to take better care of their health and the health of their children. Personally, working as a IH Community Health Worker has given her a lot of new opportunities and successes in her life, including being better able to care for herself and her children. Kemewa looks forward to continuing to work as a Community Health Worker with IH and expanding the program to allow her community to thrive.
