Dr. Kocra Lossina Assoua is an international Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Expert with 15 years of experience in the field of international development cooperation. After completion of his PhD degree in Political Science at the University of Siegen (Germany), Kocra started his career as a Research Fellow (2007-2009) and Assistant Professor of Development Policy (2009-2013) at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (Germany). He then held positions working as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Burkina Faso (2016-2018) and most recently as a Senior Evaluation Manager at the Drosos Foundation in Zürich (2018-2022). Kocra worked with several international organizations as an international consultant by leading several evaluation missions in Africa. His international expertise includes designing and managing M&E systems, result-based management (RBM), adaptative management, organizational development, change management & knowledge management/experience capitalization. Kocra is passionate about collecting, visualizing, and analyzing data, documenting lessons learned/good practices, facilitating evidence-based decision-making processes & improving organizational & programmatic performance.
