Kouméalo decided to apply to be trained as a CHW so that she could provide good quality healthcare to the children in her community. As a mother of two children, Kouméalo is always saddened to see children suffering and unable to access healthcare. Her desire as a CHW for her community is to enable everyone to be healthy and to become a valued health worker herself.
