Malankie-Hewa Kalao

Apr 18, 2018

Kalao has lived his whole life in Djamdé, where he works as a mechanic when he is not on shift as a tricycle ambulance driver for IH’s rural health transport. He was eager to work as an ambulance driver because of the health status of many in his community, particularly women and children who couldn’t reach health centers because of distance and cost of services. He is thrilled to work with IH as he has seen the impact of the IH-Djamdé partnership on the health and livelihood of his community.
