Marie BALAMOU joined Integrate Health in August 2024 as Human Resources Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for human capital development. Her diverse background and exceptional skills in human resources management make her a valuable asset to the organization.
Marie began her career as an intern with Ciments de Guinée-Conakry’s Human Resources Department in 2014. She soon proved her talent and determination by working for renowned NGOs such as Terre des Hommes and Trias Ghana-Burkina Faso. In these roles, she gained invaluable experience in administration and human resources management, demonstrating her ability to manage complex teams and projects successfully.
In April 2019, Marie joined IPT Power Tech-Guinea as Human Resources Manager, where she successfully managed recruitment, administration of local and expatriate staff, and compensation. Her expertise and leadership led her to take up the position of Human Resources Manager at the Chambre de Commerce d’Industrie et d’Artisanat de Guinée (CCIAG) in 2023. There, she implemented strategic HR policies, planned and organized recruitment, and efficiently managed payroll and benefits.
Marie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Université Aube Nouvelle (ISIG) in Ouagadougou, where she successfully defended a dissertation on the analysis of CARFO’s personnel evaluation system. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Mercure International University in Guinea-Conakry, reinforcing her solid academic base in human resources management.
A polyglot, Marie is fluent in French, English, Kpèlèwo, Malinké, Sousou and Poular, enabling her to communicate effectively in a variety of cultural contexts. Her skills in leadership, communication, listening, conflict resolution, and confidentiality are widely recognized. She is also a fervent advocate of HR innovation and health and well-being in the workplace.
An active member of the Guinean Council of Human Resources Professionals (COGUIPRO-RH), Marie is actively involved in capacity-building for HR professionals in Guinea. Passionate about reading, sightseeing, research, and sport, she also has advanced skills in Microsoft office tools, the Internet, and payroll software such as SAGE SAARI and NAVISION.
