Florence grew up in Kpindi and always dreamt of working in the health field. When the opportunity arrived in 2015, she immediately jumped at the chance to be a Community Health Worker in Kpindi. She is motivated in her job as a Community Health Worker because she wants to save children’s lives and the lives of people in her community. She has seen a change in her community members’ reaction to their health. Now mothers are quick to take their children to the clinic, women rarely give birth at home, and community members in general just seem healthier. These results are what motivate her to serve her community and be proud to work for IH.
