Having seen many of her fellow women give birth at home instead of going to the hospital and having seen children in her community lose their lives to easily preventable diseases prompted Oussra to apply to become an Integrate Health CHW in order to put an end to this. Oussra plans, through her current CHW status, to help women in her community with health issues and thus fight against child deaths and home deliveries, which were very common in her community.
