P. Émile Bobozi

Feb 26, 2021

Emile has been with IH since 2014, when he started as head nurse of the AED clinic, then became Community Health Worker Supervisor, then Clinical Mentor, and is now mentor coordinator. Emile received his license in nursing and obstetrics from the National Medical Auxiliaries School in Kara in 2012, then went on to volunteer at the Kara University Hospital in reanimation, before working for the medical facility of the Central Bank of West African States and then the Medico-Social Clinic of Atchembade. As Mentor Coordinator, Emile is instrumental in the expansion of IH’s programs into new districts, as well as supporting the clinical mentor working in our four pilot sites. He’s motivated by the eagerness of IH to support the health system rather than replace it. His favorite part of IH, however, is getting to run ultrasounds for pregnant women!
