Driven by her desire to help her community reduce the rising mortality rate among children and pregnant women, Tchalimbélo decided to apply when she learned that Integrate Health was recruiting women to be CHWs. So after her training as a CHW, she travels around her community on home visits to care for sick children, monitor pregnant women and follow up on women who have given birth in the community. Tchalimbélo confides in us how proud she is to help the well-being of her community.
