Veronique has lived in Adabawéré since 2011 and joined the IH Community Health Worker team in 2015. She chose to become a Community Health Worker to help women help themselves and their children, to share knowledge, and to empower those in her community. She’s seen many changes and is proud of the way her community has such a strong bond with IH, particularly the way women are at ease because they know they are cared for and respected in the healthcare they are receiving. Within her own home, she is empowered to care for her children and herself, bringing pride to her family for the services she provides with her skillset. Veronique looks forward to more improvements in her community as women grow and learn and are able to take better care of their families.
