World Health Worker Week (#WHWWeek), April 1 through April 7, is an opportunity to celebrate the amazing contributions of frontline workers, mobilize communities around healthcare, and raise awareness around issues impacting the field.
In that spirit, we want to acknowledge our 59 incredible community health workers (meet the team) who are transforming healthcare in Togo one community at a time! Their lifesaving work is help making preventable deaths in forgotten places a thing of the past.
We also want to highlight the work of the Community Health Impact Coalition, a confederation of CHW organizations we have partnered with to advance #HealthForAll, whose design principles for high-impact community health systems can be found here: https://chwimpact.org/.
