Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
At Integrate Health, we are committed to dismantling power structures that perpetuate racism, gender discrimination, neo-colonialism, classism, and other forms of inequality. Our objective is to reconstruct systems that distribute power equitably, foster community engagement, and are purposefully designed to the betterment of everyone’s situation. We acknowledge that we have a considerable journey ahead, yet we remain resolute in our actions.
Culture code
Integrate Health’s Culture Code serves as a pivotal document in establishing a respectful and inclusive work environment for all members of our organization and for our partners. It represents our initial strides toward dismantling systems of oppression and genuinely embodying our values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Anti-racism statement
Racism constitutes a significant public health issue, given the structural inequalities and cognitive biases that permeate every level of global healthcare systems. Additionally, racism is conspicuously present in organizations that serve racialized populations, yet operate from the West, where funding is predominantly sourced from white communities. Such dynamics contribute to racial injustices, and it is to counteract these that we have crafted the Anti-Racism Statement.
Code of ethics for resource mobilisation
In line with our strategy to subvert systems of inequality, Integrate Health has formulated a code of ethics for resource mobilization. Recognizing the existing inequalities in the realm of international development, this document will serve as a compass for our development and communications team, ensuring that they uphold the organization’s dedication to heightened fairness and transparency in fundraising endeavors.
