Over the past year Integrate Health has grown, a lot!
We’ve doubled our reach from serving 40,000 to 93,000 Togolese providing much needed healthcare services. This summer, we are slated to grow even further, increasing to 140,000 people served. We’ve begun to expand our team to support this dramatic growth in service delivery—adding Community Health Workers and supervisors, making key hires in Togo and adding a few strategic staff members to our US-based team.
Our most recent US hire, Patrick Aylward, joins the staff this week as our first Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Aylward is an engineer who got his start in global health through the Peace Corps as a founding member of the Integrate Health team nearly 15 years ago. He served on the Board of Directors of Integrate Health from 2014 to 2019.
Since the early days with Integrate Health, Mr. Aylward earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and worked for leading global health organizations including the Global Fund, Unitaid/World Health Organization, and Population Services International. His work has focused on scaling innovation, market dynamics, systems development, and program design.
“We are thrilled to welcome Patrick back to the organization to help us grow to the next level,” states Jennifer Schechter, Integrate Health Executive Director. “He returns to the organization he helped launch with more than a decade of professional experience.”
Mr. Aylward will play a critical leadership role in building Integrate Health’s organizational capacity and supporting continued growth and scale-up.
