A medical doctor by training with a Master’s Degree in Public Health (Reproductive and Family Health) and a Master’s Degree in Biostatistics, Aboubacar has worked in health programs through research, training, planning/programming, monitoring and evaluation, design, coordination, and administration of several projects and programs in maternal, child, and newborn health, family planning, social mobilization for behavior change, C-IMCI, and nutrition.
Aboubacar has over 12 years of professional experience with international NGOs and institutions including Swiss TPH- Global Fund, UNICEF, Johns Hopkins University, Save the Children, Chenomics, and Catholic Relief Services, among others. He has a strong capacity in strategic planning and analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of health programs in the West African region.
